|
|
Is it safe to sit back in a PC bang chair? I'm afraid to risk it, but every time I lean back to get comfy there's no resistance behind me. I don't want to fall over.
All the Koreans are sitting up straight, without leaning back. What's the point of having a comfy chair? |

Where a helmet, then give it a shot. That way, you won't get hurt if you do fall over.
I've yet to be in a PC bang yet. I'm a bit afraid as to what I'll find there. |

Why wouldn't it be safe?
Just relax and lean back.
The worse case senarios is you'll fall on your back and if you're embarassed to go back there again, you can just go to a different pc bang next time. |

Of what are you afraid? It's just a bunch of teenage boys playing starcraft and a bunch of chain-smokers (ask for the no-smoking section). |

| It took me a while to figure out how to straighten the back on the seats. It really feels a lot better in the long run if you do. |

Fear of the unknown!
Nah, actually, fear was the wrong word to use.
Actually, it was more or less the thought of the chain smoking mainly. Not much of a smoking fan. But if there are non-smoking sections, maybe I'll check it out just to say I was there once. |

| I had one break on me once. It sounded like a gunshot. BOOM! The big spring on the bottom gave out. Sure got everyone's attention! I also saw a leg break off when a guy was leaning back too far in Busan once. |

Nicer ones are adjustable as to how stiff the "leanback" spring is..
Reach down between your legs and feel for a knob to mess with.
I lived in PC bangs back when Diablo II was in its prime.
I may move back to Korea when DIII comes out~!
Short of an actual materiel or engineering failure [just plain breakage] I've never even seen someone fall backward in a PC Bang chair. |
