Is this for afterschool class or regular class?
I'm using Backpack with great success for my afterschool class. Each chapter has a project to do so I make the students get into groups and they make a poster. They then have to present the poster to the rest of the group. I then put the posters on the wall to cheer up my dismal office.
I also use spellingcity.com to practice vocab and have spelling tests with my students. I started out with only one or two students getting 100% but now only one or two students are getting less than 100%. Last time I made them pick the vocab and they loved that. |

Google Books is your friend.
Use the search feature to find material within the past ten years that has a limited preview.
If you know how to manipulate Internet Explorer's cache, you can read 85%+ of pretty much any book they have a preview for.
Google Books is a TESOLer's friend - for any level or situation.... |
