Cutting an *.avi movie into pieces.

I got a 26 minute self produced movie (personal) and would like to upload it to youtube, but they don't allow that.

How can I make three neat pieces of this video?

You could always torrent Sony Vegas Pro and go all out video editing. It also has where you can chop video, but you can do so, so much more.

Movie maker won't work? Probably a codec thing...

Anyhow, you could convert it to a smaller format with RiverPast Video Cleaner or Xilisoft software (not freeware), or split it up with an AVI splitter.

That looks ok...? Free anyhow...

Please don't cut up movies. It's inhumane.
