I'm leaving soon and have to sell one of my acoustics. This poor guy was chosen, since I finally found someone with a good reputation to repair my D-35 affordably (thanks to Harpeau).
Honestly, this guitar is in great shape. My other guitar has been broken for months, and I've been playing this Seagull almost exclusively since I got back last year. I'm going to miss it. Handmade in Quebec, it's got a solid spruce top, and sounds well above it's price range. I bought it for just under $500 in the US a few years ago, with the included hard case. I just had the bridge lowered and the action adjusted to suit the masses (I had the strings set high). I also had new Martin SPs put on.
Bottom line, if you want a great sounding acoustic used for the price of a comparatively tinny and cold sounding cheapie Korean guitar, this is your day. I'm asking 300,000 won, about than half I paid for it, including maintenance.
I have an offer for that much from a sleazy dealer (I say sleazy because his first offer was 150,000, until he realized I had any clue what I had in my hands) in Nakwon, but I'd rather unload it to someone who isn't going to turn around and sell it for 500-600. You can come to my place near Namyeong Station and try it out, or I could bring it to Itaewon if you're genuinely interested.
Here are a few pics of the guitar:

I have one of these back home. Its a sweet entry level solid back Canadian guitar, and they retail for like 300-400$ back in Canada. Its a shame you have to part with it. |

Just shipped it home, it'll stay in the family .
By the way, MD Guitars in Hongdae was the best luthier experience I've had in Korea. No BS, very fair quote for repairs, took him less than half as long as others said it would. In English. |
