This is definitely kind of random, but...
I can't stop listening to them! My favorite DJ is djearworm.

He did Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy" + Tom Petty's "Free Falling":

He also did Kelly Clarkson + Coldplay:

Do you guys know of any other good ones that you'd like to share? Smile

Try DJ Danger Mouse, he mashed the Beatles White Album with Jay Z's Black album, creating the 'Gray Album'.

Also some of 2 Many DJ's stuff is quite clever.

2manydjs, DJ Yoda, and Girl Talk are all well worth checking out. DJ Yoda, in particular, is excellent live.

Oh. My. God. This is too amazing.

Re: Dj Danger Mouse, they interviewed him in Good Copy Bad Copy. It was very interesting!

The problem with the Stefani/Spears one is, I love Britney Spears's voice but dislike most of her music, and I love Gwen Stefani's music but really dislike her voice. So that was like...the worst of both worlds, lol. But it was super well-made! Smile

I'll second the 2 many DJs and Girl Talk mentions. As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 by the former was my first, and still my favorite, exposure to the mash-up.

Truly a brilliant album. My fave is How to Cut and Paste: The 80's edition by Yoda. Truly a sublime album. Not strictly a mash-up, per se, but I've also always loved the DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist Brainfreeze collaboration.

Kings of Leons "Mollys Chambers" with Girls Aloud, "Sound of the Underground" to make "Aloud in Mollys Chambers."

Two completely different styles mashed together.

DJ Sussex does good stuff, this is my favorite: Beastie Boys vs Gnarls Barkley.

I like Sweet Home Country Grammar - not sure who it's from but it's good. The version with the Country Grammar verses and Sweet Home Alabama chorus is the best, but this is what Youtube has:

DJ lobsterdust has some amazing stuff. ACDC vs QUEEN vs FAITHNOMORE / BOB MARLEY vs IRON MAIDEN / 50 CENT vs MENATWORK / a pretty funny QUEEN backmasked song / BLONDIE vs THETEMPTATIONS. He does alot of techno crap too, which i'm not into, but his rock and funk stuff is excellent. Actually, PUSSYCATDOLLS vs PIXIES is a pretty decent techno mix...
