How about, What to expect: the first year.

You can pick it up nearby Seokchon station for free until Wednesday.
I'm going to chuck it out then.

Why is baby stuff so expensive here in Korea.

Example a baby carriage here sells for 200 too 300 dollars, whereas a similar type model could be purchased for around 40.00 dollars in Thailand.

Don't even get me started on baby cribs Evil or Very Mad

For all you parents out there, take a look at

Expensive and insanely difficult to find.

Ebay and Amazon are strangely cheaper alternatives. If you have friends who work on post, ask them to find out about garage sales that have baby things.

Another place to look is GMarket. We picked up a stroller for 56,000W. Real nice one too.

Try shopping at Lotte. Baby carriages go for as high as 1.75 million won!

1.75 million?? That's insane. Luxury baby carriages for the rich I guess. I have to agree with everyone though on how expensive baby stuff is here in Korea. I've been using enuri.com lately. It's a great Korean online shopping search engine. It compares Auction, Gmarket, Interpark, etc. and lists your item from the lowest price up. I was able to find a kid's scooter for 10k less than the asking prices from Gmarket.

Not so luxurious... just 3x the price of what you'd pay overseas.

When is your wife due? We might have stuff for you as well. Our son is now two months old. Are you having a boy or a girl?
