Looks like I'm going to Lotte World today... is it very good? How bad are the lines (I wonder if it will be better because of Chosuk)? How are the rides? I hear there are some rides anyone over 190 cms can't attend... I am exactly 190 cms (though I guess I'll be taller in shoes)... are these rules strictly enforced? |

lotte world is pretty fun. The lines are pretty long, though. I don't believe anything is strictly enforced. I recommend atlantis, gyro swing and french revolution. Presumably, it should be less crowded on chuseok. |

I am 188 cm and I had to hunch down a little to be shorter than their measuring stick. They would not let me on one ride anyway.
I would say if you are over 188 then give it a miss, since you can't get on the best rides.
Let us know how strict they were with you on that height rule.

Had a good time. Not very crowded until the afternoon, so I got in all the good rides early. Waited like twenty minutes at the most (though I'm sure it's different on non-Chosuk weekends). Some pretty fun rides. I tipped my head a bit and passed the height limit... they said if the seatbelt didn't fit over my head, I had to get off, but it did.
It was a good time. Lots of good vibes. If you have a certain kind of bank card (it has two specific letters on the front... HB, maybe? I'm too lazy to stand up and look right now), you pay half price. |

I went to Lotte world right in the middle of the summer heat. What a mistake.
I remember waiting in line for about an hour and thirty five minutes only to be turned away because I was too tall. (194cm) I could only go on the horrible theme rides.
To top it all off, my girlfriend asked a guy a question and he replied that he didn't speak Korean because she was with a white-y. She prevented me from breaking his face.
I'd tell everyone it's horrible don't go. |
