I'm looking to get liposuction (love handles that won't go away despite exercise and diet). Does anyone have any recommendations? I did a search, but there are no names / contacts for doctors. |

You are in the right country for lipo!
This guy (see liink below) is really good. He and his assistant both speak excellent English and have previously lived in the states.
Clinic is in Apkujeong.
Service is excellent.

Walk around Apgujung station. There are literally dozens littered all over the place. You're looking at about 6 MKW for your flanks. Maybe a little less, not much though. Let us know how it goes. Good luck. |

Good luck! I had lipo done (in the US) last year and honestly it was one of the best decisions I've ever made...well, other than, you know, going to college etc.
Just a fair warning: it hurts like a mofo, it really does. You'll have to wear a compression garment, which is basically a tight ACE bandage wrapped around your waist, at all times for several weeks.
At least you get painkillers. |

Reise-ohne-Ende what did you have done? Did you have any scarring?
I had a small procedure done last year. The scars (two) were about 1-2cm each. And due to their position, it's almost impossible to see them, even staring right at them. So I can speak for the quality of cosmetic surgery done here. It's one thing the Koreans do really well. Most Japanese and Chinese that get stuff done come here. And even if people want to admit it or not, a lot, I mean a lot of Korean girls have stuff done. Most of the time small stuff like breasts or eyes. But noses, total body lip, and other stuff gets done. It's quite common. |

I got lip on my stomach, flanks, inner thighs, and upper arms. I do have visible scars - just the nature of the procedure - but they're only about 3/4 of an inch long. Nobody has ever noticed them until I pointed them out - they kind of just look like bug bites or something.
I'm going to have to restrain myself when I'm over there! Plastic surgery is amazing, but I don't want to end up like one of those middle-aged women that looks mummified!
I know there's a procedure you can get done that really does reduce the appearance of cellulite...maybe that's something I can save up for and treat myself to after a while there. |

My wife works in the industry and I've sent a PM regarding potential consultations. |
