|
|
Hi all...
I'm looking at ways to extend my stay in Korea without flying all the way to the UK and back again. British passports currently get a 90 day Tourist / Business Visa.
My current Visa takes me up to November 14th and my current flight back to the UK is November 12th. But I've got an open ticket and want to take the boat to China and come back into Korea with a new 90 Day Visa and a new date for my return ticket because I need a little longer to dot the Is and cross the Ts, preferably to the end of the year.
Anyone had experience of doing this or know if it's even possible? |

you'll need a visa for china. that'll cost you about 50k. if you're not planning on staying in china for more than a day, seems a waste of time and effort.
otherwise it will be no problem. flights are about the same price and way more convenient however.
get the boat to japan and back, you'll get a 90 day stamp.
or get a cheap flight to japan, taiwan, philippines, thailand etc. japan will likely be the cheapest, but there are good deals to the others if you'd like a little stopover. |

Thanks...
I'm keen for the slowboat experience... besides a flight to Phil. I figured it would be the cheapest option even with the Visa considerations. I'd be cool with a few days stopover wherever I end up going too...
Just wanted to make sure Korean immi weren't super strict and required you to fly back to your home country first... |
