| I'm just wondering if anyone knows the prices of a lower end manual camera? I don't know much about it, just that this is what pros use. |

An old manual SLR, like a Canon AE-1 or Nikon FM?
The camera shops in Namdaemun 수입상가 have tons but it's hard to pinpoint a price without knowing what model you're looking for. With cameras that old, price will vary depending on condition or whether the shutter has been rebuilt, etc. |

| I actually know nothing about them. I was thinking about buying one for someone as a gift actually, and I'm just looking for something less than like 800 but I don't think it's possible. |

| You can get Pentax k1000 bodies for like $50ish on ebay, sometimes with a basic lens, they shouldn't be much more here. |

W800,000 should be easy enough.
Nikon FM + 50/1.4 E Series would run no more than W500,000 and that is an awesome combination.
The giftee a good friend?
Try a Nikon F3 HP + 50/1.4 E Series and you should be right around your W800,000 limit.
If you're gonna buy an old manual camera, stick to Nikon, Pentax or Leica M-mount as all three lines have not changed their mounts to their modern digital SLRs so you can use your old lenses on your new cameras. Buying into something like Canon will leave you with a bunch of lenses that you can't use on anything but your film camera. |
