Yes! you should absolutely grow a beard. facial hair is what makes us men, not the *beep*. think about it; who would you rather take fishing non bearded man or bearded lady? I rest my case.
I really hope you listen to me on this one. I'm a mustache man myself, but it ain't for everyone. |

Only if you're going to hunting camp for two weeks in November, or planning to play Joseph or one of the Three Wise Men in the Christmas pageant. |

Asams, I would never seriously consider growing a beard. Instead, grow a moustache that swoops up to attach to your sideburns.
However, if you are dead set on bearding it up, I have to help a fellow UNC student make potentially disastrous decisions.

Also, i implore you to only listen to people who can produce beards in your consideration. it has been my experience that many women do not understand the beard/mustache, much akin to how men do not understand long painted fingernails. it's just one of those things.
I say try it, then when it is in full beard glory go with your gut and make your decision to keep or to abandon. |

The only people who will tell you NOT to grow a beard are people who can't grow them. |

The problem is I'm not even sure if I can grow a beard. I have no problem getting a mustache or hair growing around my jawline and neck, but I can't grow enough hair to get a nice connection between the mustache and the other facial hair. |

Why do gays grow facial hair?
To hide the stretchmarks.
Sorry. |

That was classic.
I usually enjoy scruff over a beard. It makes me look more sexy/rugged and less like a hobo. That's just the look I'm going for though, the "I Am Not A Hobo" look. |

I'd like to grow abeard but can't
I have very fair hair, so it's just not to be.
It's weird, I get stuble after about 3 days of not shaving and it looks good, nice and dark and kind of cool (I think so and ex gf's also said the same, I have a kind of young face so I guess they liked the rugged contrast for a few days heh heh, or whatever, I dunno... )
But If I leave it to grow for over a week or so it just comes out this kind of white/blonde bland colour and never curls, it's just spiky. Looks godawful.
Anyway, I say the OP should go for it, everyone should try it at least once.
Maybe I too could have one if I buy some of that black spray advertised on Korean TV to cover up bald spots...! |
