The recruiter I'm going through has just e-mailed me some information on a school in this area. She said it's in the "newtown" of Gimhae city. Just under an hour from Busan.
I've done some researching on it, and I guess it's a "planned" city? I get the concept, just new to it.
Has anyone lived here? I understand it's not much for people wanting to party, which would actually be good for me, as I'd like to save more than I spend. If it has a local bar or two that I can sit down and drink at on occasion I would be okay with that.
Any insight on this or the school specifically would be great. The school is Seokhwa E-kids school. |

| My friend lived there and I hated it when I visited. It's far enough from Busan that you need an expensive cab ride at night. It also seams to take a long time on the bus even though it's so close to Busan. As the other guy said go to Busan. The students I talked to there all were really good at speaking English. Not sure if that was a fluke but if I asked for directions they were all blah blah blah in full sentences. In my town they are like "Bus there go". In Gimhae they were like "go down there, turn left at the lights, and walk 500 metres and the Busan bus goes from there" |
