"I Come with the Rain" comes out today and is supposedly in English, but I just wanted to double check that it's entirely in English. In "Angels & Demons," there were whole scenes that were in French and other languages that didn't have any English subtitles. Seeing as how there are Korean and Japanese actors in the film, I'm worried this might happen with this film as well. Just wondering if anyone saw it at PIFF -- or sees it as of today -- can can let me know. I don't want to miss any major plot points or anything. |

It says that, but I'm still concerned there might be scenes with the Korean actors talking to one another in Korean without subtitles. I know the bulk of the movie is in English, just wondering if they would subtitle if there's any parts in Korean or Japanese since they haven't with other movies I've seen. |

The dialogue is ALL in English except for a little Cantonese in the background and one scene where a prostitute speaks Mandarin. It mostly takes place in Hong Kong and the Korean actor (Lee Byunghun) plays a Chinese guy. There is no Korean in the movie at all.
Good lord, was that a disturbing movie though. Not at all what I was expecting. I expect to have some messed-up nightmares tonight. |

While I'm not sure that that is an endorsement, do go on. You've piqued my interest. What's the gist of it?
(I'm not in Korea, but I bet I can download it.) |
