Of all the pretentious bullspit. I first heard of this trend years ago when it hit Toronto, and now it's here too:
More than just water

Min is one of the increasing number of Koreans that have grown keen to so-called premium water -- some of which costs as much as 15,000 won per 750 ml bottle.
Shinsegae Department Store opened a "Water Bar" at its Centum City branch in Busan, South Gyeongsang Province, in March this year.
The bar, complete with "water sommeliers" and 100 different types of premium water types, is now visited by about 130 customers a day.
The second Water Bar opened at Shinsegae's Gangnam branch in August, and the third one is set to open at Yeongdeungpo. |
This is a nice segway into the funniest Penn and Teller bit I've seen:

Personally I only drink VOSS water. It's hard to get it here in Korea, but I have it shipped from Japan. |

If it appeals to pretentious yuppies it will be a big hit here. |

I'm guessing, at the absolute very least, that you drink a litre of water a day. If all the water you drink is premium and shipped from Japan, I have to wonder how much you spend on water, not to mention if there's any discernable difference. |

Actually, I find the long journey to give the taste a hint of salt. This combined with the long maturity from the Norwegian glaciers enriches the water with an anti-aging effect you'll notice as soon as you've been drinking this water for 2 weeks. |

I buy the cheapest bottled water I can find.
Funny how the smaller 500ml bottles of beverages are just as expensive as the 1L bottles in Korea.
I've quit buying drinks and snacks in convenience stores cause the stuff is overpriced. What a ripoff! |

Can't beat the Costco Kirkland price for 6 1L bottles. |
