|
I left Korea six months ago and will be back Nov 14-30 to pack up my stuff. I left it all in Korea because I broke my leg, went back to Canada for surgery. So anyway I'll be back and there are things I don't want to pack up and mail back to Canada. And so would like to mention here. Don't be put off by my not putting a price, I'm not greedy and inviting inflated offers. I'm just putting this info out there. By the way I live near Jinju. During the time period Nov 14-30 I'll be making numerous trips to the post office and so will be able to mail items to people interested in items. Since I'm not in Korea now I can't examine the items to respond to detailed questions. I lived in Korea for 13 years and so have quite a bit of stuff.
(thanks, SOLD)Banjo. Brand new never used still in box bought from Songtan Base, a music store there. It's a Korean brand, Samick I think. Five string, good banjo, paid 120 thou (it was on sale, big sale, very good deal).
Autoharp. Samick. Had new strings put on it and it's been spruced up, tuned up, buffed up by a guy at the Chongno Music arcade Seoul. Paid 100,000 for it and to get it spruced up.
TV. Bought used for 50,000 it's a medium sized used colour tv with a good picture.
Sony component stereo/CD/tape. Bought for 300,000 won a few years ago. Good player no issues.
DVD /VHS player bought for 60,000 from a guy on Dave's works no problem.
A couple of two man tents. A couple of flannel sleeping bags, Woods brand I think, in really good shape. (One tent, the dome, SOLD thanks).
(decided to keep and ship to Canada, thanks)A Soloflex gym. This was bought from a guy on Dave's last year for 900,000 won. He was with the army so got it shipped over from the States free. It works with rubber bands unlike the Bowflex which has bows. I needs a new set of bands which go for 150 bucks from the States. It's a really cool home gym.
Kickbox dummy. This was bought new for 300,000. It is in like new cond and the bottom fills with water to weigh it down. It's as tall as a man.
Pair of boxing gloves.
SOLD thanks. Coffeestation by Staunton I think it is. This is 130 bucks new and is in new cond, never used, in box. It has espresso, latte, coffee, capuccino function and makes coffee on auto for a certain time like an alarm clock. Was a gift from Mom sent over from Can to Korea on Xmas. Still in its box. Runs on 110 and will need a transformer which I have(twenty bucks at a hardware store in Kor). SOLD thanks.
SOLD thanks. Delonghi espresso machine, pump driven, 15bar pressure. This is not a steam driven 'steam toy'. It makes really good espresso. I got it used from a guy on Dave's and used it for a year. I also got the high end grinder he had, really good grinder can't recall the name brand of that. The two together are an exc espresso set-up. SOLD thanks.
(thanks, SOLD)Wilson leather football, paid 26,000 won last year Homeplus, one scuff, practically unused.
SOLD thanks. Mr Juicer. This is a fruit and vegetable juicer, high end, easy to use and clean up. I think it's actually called Mr Juicer. Anyway it's a top of the line U.S appliance built like a brick outbuilding. SOLD thanks.
Inflatable raft 12 foot long and fits two guys. It has a mount for a motor and is in its box. It weighs, packed up, about thirty pounds. I paid 200 for it from a guy in Pusan. He used it a couple of times at the beach.
Two very heavy guage steel chains. One is two meters long and the other is a bit shorter. Good for locking up one's motorbike outside. That's what I used them for. Paid sixty bucks and that was about seven years ago. Free.
SOLD thanks. Costco marble (real marble) bathroom scale. Paid 30 bucks at Costco, digital, brand new never used. SOLD thanks.
SOLD thanks. Violin. Paid fifty bucks from a guy off Dave's last year. Not a Chinese piece of junk violin. He played it. I don't play but figured I might. It arrived in the mail in a foam padded box and in its violin case. SOLD thanks.
Bosch grinder. Paid sixty bucks at Homeplus. Used quite a bit but in like new cond. Bosch jigsaw. Paid about the same amount, used quite a bit but in like new cond. Drill, cord not battery, basic.
SOLD thanks. Really, really good deadbolt home doorlock. I paid 100,000 for this a couple of years ago and, whenever I had a teacher's apt I slapped this baby on. Just me with the key. The key is cylindrical and is supposedly impossible a lock to pick, or fake a key for. Very impressive deadbolt. SOLD thanks.
The following is a list of Korean language study books. At the end of the list is an Ectaco Kor-Eng Eng-Kor speaking elec dict. This is a high end item bought new from Canada for 580 bucks. It has not been used much and it's practically the only elec talk dict that speaks Korean. With these things I am NOT listing a price I'd like to get for them. Just listing the new price or what I paid. I'm open to offers.

I'm still interested in your violin. If you aren't willing to ship it, I might be able to come out and buy it in person. As I said before, dying to play again |

The bathroom scale and the Staunton coffee machine are already mine. I'm going back home soon, so I can use the Staunton when I get back to the land of the living. I've spoken to the OP via pm, we've agreed on price, just waiting on the details for the money transfer.
I don't think he's logged on in the past few days though. |

Captain Kirk,
I got your PM, but can't reply to it (haven't made 25 posts on Dave's yet).
Can you PM me again with an email address so we can communicate?
In regards to your message, I'm happy to make a transfer so that the items I am interested in are reserved as "sold." Just send me the necessary information and I'll make the transfer asap.
Cheers! |
