My school said they're there to watch the students. We have one in the teachers room... When we asked them why (in a nationwide faculty meeting), they paused for about a minute, then said at another school there was a fight where two teachers were injured. They don't want anything like that to happen to our teachers so they installed one there. We receive notices on our desk about complaints that could only be seen by cctv.... I hate working at my school.....

Sshi-sshi Teevee. Yea, we've got them at my school. But none inside the school or in my classrooms or any others. Public school here.

In 2008 we were asked for our bank pin numbers, to deposit money into our accounts. But they could watch our banking activity, so I opened a new account to transfer money into that account with a different pin number! One holiday some workmen put cables behind and into our telephone sockets. Just the two female workers had that done.

In 2009 my co-teachers would comment on things that happened at home, so I wondered if there was a camera in my apartment!!!
I was asked for my bills so they knew what my expenses were.

Learn how to say "No".

Then take it apart and see if they installed a camera. If they did, call the cops.

Cameras in the classroom are a good thing to me. Last year a nut job I worked with kicked a student. He was fired. Not long after that a student tired to get me fired by claiming I kicked him. Playback proved him a liar.

Take that finger puppet.

Man. I didn't even think about that if a kid could just lie and say you did something crazy. That would suck. That's actually a case where cameras helped you out. Good point.

dont mind if they have camera's in the class room as long as they tell everyone about it!

at hagwon i worked at 95% certain they had camera's they denided it but i set a few traps and when they mentioned things i had said i was certain.

at public school i dont think they had camera's but they had listening facilities and i could hear a constant hum coming from the speaker system at the start of the class. there was a mic function on the speaker system and when i turned it off the constant low hum noise would disappear. if i adjusted the volume button the lo hum didnt really change in volume.
they had a large audio room at the school one teacher who knew english was often heading thier as i had my class! again 95% certain.an they never mentioned it.

things i whatched at pc bang in my own time were regularly brought up, whatched dave shappelle was asked about it, documentary about aryrian gang in jail got told i looked like a german solider! whatched japanese chicks kissing on youtube asked did i like to whatch women kissing! said yeah sometimes if thier sexy.

publc school internet was monitored an so it should be but again they never mentioned it to me. would experience so many coincidences i layed a trap started whatching french documantaries and music video's etc an bang right on cue was asked do i speak french even the lady at the bakery i occasionally went to started speaking to me in french as soon as i walked in!

i was staying in a studio apartment in a 3 storey townhouse studio apartment an landlord lived thier, didnt have a sterio when i 1st moved for a while so was singing to myself a lot an when we went to the norebang they wanted me to sing, an everyone suggested songs i had sung in the shower or when drinking a few beers in my apartment by myself.

way to many coincidences for me to write them off, some can be explained by simple curiosity of a foriengner and how locals in a reasonably small town like to gossip, but many cant and coud only have been because i was whatched.

a certain amoun of being whatched is ok if thiers a good reason and its a known fact to everyone involved.

im against people covertly spying on you and not even mentioning what they have done and why afterwards.

anyway thats my rant about that. was many more coincidences i could have mentioned but you get the picture.

ha! berry gordy jr featuring jacko!

i got no problem with being whatched as long as school or hagwon has the guts to be up front about it! all they need to say is thiers camera etc in many of the classes around the school an its for your protection as well as the students!

as for in your own time going about your lawful activity, privacay should be respected, *beep* off!

that my opinion anyways
