Anybody having trouble accessing this site? I can't even get a web proxy to reach it. Mininova is still grabbing torrents from there, anyone know what's going on?

I understand if you don't have time for this, but how does this site work? Do I need a special player to view a file from that site? My computer didn't recognize the Jay Leno torrent that I tried...
Never downloaded a torrent before.

Try the google. You should be able to find a detailed tutorial. You also need to download a program called Utorrent. Just google "torrent how to", or similar. |

A torrent is not a video file it's more like a shopping list that tells "utorrent" where to get all the parts of the video file.
First download utorrent
http://download.cnet.com/uTorrent/3000-2196_4-10528327.html?tag=mncol
set up where you want files downloaded and all that stuff (Preferences- advanced).
Choose a torrent
http://twitter.com/eztv_it
http://www.mininova.org/
choose the torrent you want. (for the mininova one make sure the ratio between seeds and leaches is high). For the eztv one all seeds will be high so don't worry.
If available read the comments. Don't be put off if there is one person yelling fake or virus, there are stupid people everywhere.
Click either the link (for eztv) or the download now button (for mininova).
A dialogue button will popup select open
utorrent will pop up select yes.
Wait for the file to download, sometimes a very short time sometimes a very long time.

I recommend vlc player, has played everything I have ever thrown at it |
