I don't know why you guys put yourself through it. That is, going through all the effort trying to hook-up with chicks here in Korea. For those who feel the time and effort is worth it (or was worth it) then so be it but for others it's like what are doing?! Go to the Philippines. The chicks there are fantasitc! None of these mind games..they just go right at you. How to hook up? Just show up. You don't need any impressive lines or even that great of looks..just be there and they will come to you. What do you talk about when (not if) approached. I found that many will just let you lead the conversation and as long as you don't insult them then whatever you say..it's right!
Make your move there now and stop wasting your life here getting nowhere. Believe me. I lived there for several years and it was great seeing the chicks in action everyday. |

Yup. A lot of the Korean girls that we date and that are continually passed around from foreigner to foreigner honestly have a host of psychological problems. |

I could definitely get the girl
Just don't want them- why?
Most of the girls that come to me (and they do come to me in droves) are looking for one of several things;
- Status
- Easy living
- Stability and comfort ability
Basically gold-diggers.
Actually, I was at a poker game with some other bigwigs onbase and one of the topics that came up was that 99% of the women in Korea are in fact gold diggers- doesn't matter if they are Korean or foreigner.
I remember I got into a conversation with a hot looking married Korean woman who swore she would divorce her husband and leave her kids if I married her. I said yes for the night, at least. When she left the next morning, she gave me her number and prodded me to give her a call- which I never did.
Why would I simply hand over my hard-earned money to a good-for-nothing who just sits at home all day- makes no sense. |

But don't your descriptions basically apply to all girls in all places..yes i know there are those exceptions.
the ones that aren't like that are gold..so aren't we too in a differnet kind of sense "gold diggers" as well? |

I have never really understood women who are only attracted to money. Money is nice, sure, but I can make my own. (And do.) But if I married a man who had tonnes of money, solely for the purpose to stay home and paint my nails.....I would DIE of boredom.
Money is nice. Money is not crucial. |

| A lot of women CAN'T make their own money. I mean look at the job situation in Korea for young Korean men, let alone women. There's a reason the kids commit suicide if they don't get into a SKY school. |

Witty, I'll give you that.
There are exceptions to every rule- which is learned in science and math. But the bottom line comes that yes, people could get by and find love without the means of having money. But it is the financial situation that could either make or break certain couples.
It depends on the woman- some women go on looks and some go on money. The thing is, both can go away easily these days. A woman could be gorgeous during her youth but remember outer beauty can last for so long- so whats left?
Finding a good man/woman involves being at the right place at the right time. |

If you are telling the truth, Do you want to get married? If you are not, at least you have the sense not to flagrantly state it from the "get go". As western men, we have a good sense of when a female is a digger or not. These Korean boys seem to be lacking in that department. Good luck to them.

They don't even try to hide it!! Not even for 3 dates/meetings, whatever!! They just show their cards before the money hits the table. I just can't believe it! Build more love motels and fast!! "The Infidelity Kingdom".
Olivencia - Going to the Phillipines just for that purpose could get boring mighty fast. I am not sure your logic holds water in the sense that Phillipino women are pretty much looking for the same thing and are much more poor in relation to Koreans. |
