Ok, So usually I have some time at the end of my class and I am allowed to play some games or do some fun activity (preferably for improving English).
What do people here think are the better games..
I play Tic, Tac, Toe, Stop the Bus, Word association, Hangman etc...
but Id like to add to this list..
Anybody have any ideas about very fun games..to keep the kids smiling!!? |

Write out three or four topics on top.. For example,
In School Summer Time Animal
Tell the students to write these down on a sheet of paper. They can work in pairs or alone..
Then when they are ready..write down a letter... for example B
The students have to think and write down words under each category with the letter B. The first person to have three words written down shouts STOP THE BUS. If the spellings are correct he/she or the team gets a point..
So examples of the answers for the above could be..
Blackboard Beach Bear
Hope you understand the explanation.. The game can be varied by adding in tougher categories or getting them to write two words etc..
Now, any other games for me?? |

Charades is always a good wrap-up. Mime one of the lesson concepts, first student to guess it comes to the front, secretly show them another picture or word from the lesson & they do the same, & so on. |

My kids love to play Pictionary. Buy a set of blank index cards from the convenient store and just write random terms that your kids will understand. They especially like to draw other teachers, popular cartoon characters, and public figures/celebrities. It always results in a good laugh.
I have students that have different comprehension levels, so I have 3 sets of pictionary cards set aside to fit each level. You might want to do the same to prevent repeating words/drawings |

Wow! Slamming somene before they've even posted. You seem to be doggedly humping ddeubel all over the boards here, spot. Your ejaculation is both immature and premature. |
