Ok so I find all the how to info to protect my wireless connection but they all are for different routers....has anyone successfully protected their wireless network while here in Korea...
When the IT guy came out I explained I wanted to change the name and the password but he wouldn't or couldn't do it. I have no idea who to call to fix it.
I have a tellion router with a Qook wireless attached...
I am with KT and wonder if there is an english speaking help line?
I am pretty sure we are getting hacked ...our internet keeps cutting out and when we try to log back on it says the system is already busy processing another ip address Razz As well our internet speeds have dropped for downloading...

HELP

All wireless routers have the same principle for accessing and protecting, here in Korea the main difference is Korean language everywhere, you can try the same procedures and in this website, http://www.ehow.com/how_4555070_set-wireless-network-password.html
If you need some more information, just google it.
Hope this helps.

I'm currently with Xpeed LG and they had it configured in the wall (no modem). LAN cable from the wall into a D-Link wireless router I bought at Homeplus. I set up my own TKIP password and username with the setup guide that opens with the CD (lucky it was all in English). Signal is pretty weak though...

You might check the wireless power option tab, it has several levels (distance based, as I remember)
