Besides ignoring it which is what I do most of the time are there other options left?
I mean I'm just out walking to the store or something and some guy just keeps staring at me. I say hello and smile but he keeps staring. This scenario has happened several times. These dudes don't look gay or anything, nor do they smile and it seems they don't even move. I'm thinking to myself "Just take a picture - it lasts longer" Smile

i've said it before and i'll say it again: careful, they just might.

anyways, the best way is to just ignore it. i wouldn't smile or talk to them, and there's no point really in saying anything to them, they wouldn't understand why you're upset (nor would they care). it definitely gets annoying, i've been there, but it's useless to think of a quick fix for it.

Stare back. Look right into their eyes for about 10 seconds and they'll quickly turn their gaze somewhere else.

You'll get used to it. I don't even notice it anymore, unless it's the really bad ajeoshi/ajumma version.

You do this,

You stare right them back in the eye.

And then proceed to scratch your balls.

I do it all the time, it works great... if not for getting them embarrassed, at the very least I obtain some lulz from the akward situation.

Depends upon the situation. If I'm standing in a train or subway and I get the stare, I'll usually pat the guy (it's almost always a guy) on the shoulder and smile. That totally chills him. If it's an aggressive stare and he won't quit, I'll give him a wink. That should take care of that. Very Happy

Whip Olivencia Jr. out.

I swear though, a lot of you guys probably live for the stares here. Or maybe I'm just jealous since I blend in. It's always greener, I guess.

I have no idea if someone is staring at me or not becaue I don't even see people any more unless it's a hot chick.

I've got my MP3 blasting at all times, I keep my head down, my hat worn down over my eyes and I'm walking with tunnel vision.

People don't exist unless I want them to - see hot chick above.

This takes years to master and some will never be able to do it but it's total freedom.

Some think this is asocial behavior but quite the opposite. I'm social when I want to be and when I want to be alone among millions of people I just go to my happy place.

well said zuleth
use your headphones as a barrier. It helps a lot and then when you take it out of your ear people will be happy you want to speak to them. I even do that now back in the states.

Just smile.

Seriously give em a nice warm smile and they'll either smile back and then stop gawping or just feel emabarrassed and stop gawping.

no need to get angry.

I give a quick bow. If they are close enough I give them an 'annyong.'
