What are the benefits of an after-school program? Can one take another job also? Do they provide apt., airfare etc.?

Any information, pro or con, would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mithra

It depends, like everything here. Usually they pay well with low hours.

Don't fall for the 2 bankbook scam, where you must give them your bankbook. This leaves you open to a potentially massive Tax, Health Insurance, and Pension debts.

If you want 2 jobs, you must get a hagwon job first and then add a public school. Some after school programs have the school sponsor your visa. This means you need to find a job in a hagwon first and then add the public school visa.[/list]

Just check your contract carefully.

If it's all explained well, then it can be good.

You may do it at the same school you work at in the mornings or at different one.

Also, see what kind of curriculum is offered. Do the students get books for it, or will you need to make things yourself?

Hope this helps.
