Anybody know where I can find some? Tums, Rolaids? Is there an off the shelf similar Korean product that is easy to come by? |

Red Door in Itaewon may have them though her supplies have been running low lately.
Also the Foreign Food Market near What the Book. |

Jeez, that stuff is so easy to find. There must be a million posts on where to find things like that. I would imagine even my friends back home who haven't even been to Korea know where to find the stuff here with all the posts that have been made. Shame on you OP.
And don't retaliate. I already won and won't look at this thread again. Probably. |

They sell Tums at Costco, they're chewable antacid tablets...work like a charm. Can't get those...just eat Ivy sugarless crackers. |

I mix about 0.5 of a teaspoon of baking soda in water. Not that you should, but it works for me. |

Any pharmacy has it-- no need to go to Costco or Itaewon or anywhere else. The pharmacy down the block will have it. |

Ask a Korean to help you find SO-DA in the baking aisle. (Baking soda)
It's in a little plastic bag (tiny and square) with red Korean writing which says SO-DA. Take a little in water. |

If you're going to take baking soda, Arm & Hammer is usually in the cleaning things aisle, as it's used to wash vegetables.
They have a liquid antacid in little pouches at any drug store. I forget the name. Some girl who was pregnant here told me. |

The Korean products which I've used are:
Talcid-chewable tablets...chalky, but somewhat effective.
Zanatol-pills...
Both are boxed with Hangul, but also English letters so they'll be able to find 'em if you write it down.
I'm in the sticks, so it is a relief to find any product at the local Yak Guk which can fix the burn and gut rot.
Mostly I avoid the spices nowadays, which has helped. |
