Which way is more common for American students to play this game?
Koreans say "scissors-rock-paper" in Korean. I've heard it so many different ways ...I'm not sure which comes first - scissors or paper? Or would it
be common for Americans to say it both ways?
Thanks. |

Koreans also say mook-jji-bba. Which is rock-scissors-paper.
I think Americans say rock-paper-scissor. |

I'm an American, and whenever I've played the order is:
Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot.
(throwing the item you pick on the word 'Shoot'.
You could just call it Rochambeau and avoid the controversy |

Ha yeah the shoot is probably from our US gun culture - but that's ok, governments should fear its citizens, not the other way around:) |

I always refer to this site for all of my rock-paper-scissor inquiries.

ditto
"... rock, paper, scissors ..." No one ever said "shoot."
This was in many parts of the US. |

I say paper-scissors-rock, because then you can say things like, "I will paper scissors ROCK YOU." It's quite intimidating to the opponent. |

I'm from around Columbus, Ohio, a little over three hours away. I don't think you can blame this on them Southerners. And anyway, from what I've seen of Detroit, I'd think there's more 'shoot'ing there
I think the "shoot" is just for us rhythmically challenged people who need to have a word to say while putting out your choice, otherwise you might not both hit the same beat. |

That's why I said it cause we probably would have said it then (if it were an "American" thing). Maybe there needs to be some wheels around to steal to make it worth shooting |
