Hi, I am looking at Suwon as a location to teach in and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to specific schools they knew that were good to teach at. Thanks for your help! |

I taught at Susung high school in Suwon. It's academic school. It has a reputation of hightest University entrance exam scores. The kids are well disciplined and the Korean teachers just leave you alone to teach your way. A laid back experience. Most of the Korean teachers I had are now Supervisors. Mostly male teachers lots of opportunities to go out drinking.
The one drawback is some students will view your class as break time. They don't get much sleep. It might be helpful if you make your classes geared towards the exam. Include lots of listening materials use Jack Richards listening text book. |
