if there is one thing i suck at it is puctuation. so no wise cracks about my shite punctuation please!!!
i have got an important interview coming up back in england and there is a writing test. i need to brush up on the finer points of punctuation in order to impress. any good websites or books that you know of that will aid me in my quest for perfect punctuation? |

Half of the rules for puncuation are screwy anyway... but I suggest once you do learn them, use them when typing on forums, emails, or even instant messages... it'll help you practice proper use.
I tell ya though, I'd be an absolute sucker for a girl that properly used a semi-colon. |

Strunk and White, Elements of Style the fourth edition is in the kyobo bookstore on the shelf near the conversation textbooks on the far right hand corner. It is a gray book, about 100 pages. It is not a textbook by any means, but merely a resource that gives common sense punctuation help. Everyone ought to read that book. |

My writing skills and punctuation are pretty good, but I think the main reason for that is that I read a lot. I think that's a good way to get a good feel for developing structural skills such as punctuation (and it's fun, too). |
