Paid a week after getting my visa- Does that look bad?

I will be paid a full month's salary about a week after getting my visa. Is that something Immigration could hold against me in the future, or should I not worry about it? I wanted to be paid in cash this month, but the school refuses and only wants to pay to my bank account.

How is immigration going to know? Are you going to show them your bank book? They only care about procedure. Anyway, they wouldn't know what that pay is for.

Korean immigration is not exactly a streamlined crime-fighting machine. Like the last guy said, they only care about procedure.

They are the perfect example of a bureaucratic monster that sleeps most of the year.

Actually, Immigration does randomly monitor foreigner's bank accounts to check for discrepancies in deposits vs. salary on the contract (basically looking for teachers doing illegal work). However, I think it would be a one in a million shot that they would notice that you got paid before you had completed a month on your contract. Additionally, the school could just say they were paying you in advance. The school doesn't want to get caught anymore than you do - huge fines, loss of license, etc.
