I'm looking for a teaching job, but need to be back in the US fall of 2010. All of the employers/recruiters I've contacted want a 1 yr commitment-- any suggestions?

I've known a couple of people to have 6 month contracts, but they didn't get severance or airfare or anything.

I know someone here right now who is doing the same thing. Has been here for a few weeks, plans on leaving towards the end of july, blaming it on a parent losing their job or something like that. Remember, most contracts make you retro-responsible for airfare TO Korea if you leave LESS THAN 6 MONTHS after your contract begins, some even make you pay back recruiter fees, too. Read the fine print, and good luck.
