I also have the irrational fear of the E string. When I restring my guitar, I always turn my head away because I fear that the E string may snap and whip out my eye. I don't know if this has ever happened in the history of guitar-playing, but I don't want to tempt fate.

Everytime I've manage to snap my low E, the coil stayed intact, and the string just buzzed like a horde of angry bees from the core hitting off the coil when I strummed- nothing to worry about.

I'm gonna have to stop eating at nice restaurants in order to afford my gas bill because my apartment doesn't hold heat well at all.

I'm not like them but I can pretend
The sun is gone but I have a light
the day is done
and I'm having fun
I think I'm dumb
Or maybe just happy
I think I'm just happy

The high, small one? One time I snapped mine and it whipped around and drove itself into my palm just below my pinky. Straight to the bone. A friend in high school got a pretty nasty cut on his face from a broken bass string. Dangerous thing guitar playing.

Careful fellas. You're entering into a conversation here and this is not what this thread is for.

BTW, I had a kid tell me that Popeye was a Korean cartoon. Do they claim everything now?
