Sorry, you seem to have left out a lot more of the stats for the MacBook which may add to its price. Let me help.

You are selling your own netbook which has the specs you noted because it can't run Photoshop. Oh, and it cost you 567,000 won and can't even sell for 400,000. Interesting.
I also notice you are raising the price from $199 to now $675 and comparing the basic $999 MacBook as apposed to a $1200 MacBook Pro. |
The thing is, that is still kind of crap for a $1k notbook. I would go with something like
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220621
if i wanted to spend the cash. Though there are probably a lot of better options as I found that after about 20 seconds of looking and I haven't researched laptops in a year or so. Fact is apple computers are nice, and if they took somewhere from 300-400 of the price they would be worthwhile. As they stand now though they are more of an idiot tax. |

| pusky, I am not saying that Macs aren't overpriced, just that saying a $200 netbook is equal to a $1200 MacBook is rediculous. I like the OS, I would be happy to buy a cheaper (no Apple made) laptop with OSX on it if it were available (which I guess it is now...somewhat). |

"The only problem with Microsoft is they just have no taste, they have absolutely no taste.... I guess I am saddened, not by Microsoft's success - I have no problem with their success, they've earned their success for the most part. I have a problem with the fact that they just make really third-rate products."
Steve Jobs, appearing on the PBS program "Triumph of the Nerds" (2003)
"As good as Apple may be, I don't believe the success of the iPod is sustainable in the long run. You can make parallels with computers: Apple was very strong in this field before, with its Macintosh and its graphics user interface - like the iPod today - and then lost its position."
Bill Gates, to Reuters (2005) -> WITHOUT mentioning that Microsoft's illegal trade contracts were directly responsible for this loss of position. |
