I still have yet to fly over for my teaching job, but I had a question. Are American 360s obtainable within Korea? I don't want to bring mine over, being that it's already dying and I've worked at an airport before so I know how they treat the luggage. |

No. Unless you know some US army GI willing to get you one. |

There are usually some floating around Dave's Buy/Sell/Trade page, and I've talked to vendors in Yongsan about American 360's. Some have them, some don't.
Do you want to play on X-Box Live? If not, a modded Korean console might meet your needs better than an imported 360.
And as the previous poster said, there are GI's who sell theirs to pawnshops around bases. I've never been down that road, but hey, it's a road. |

if u really want an american one for games like nhl 09 i reckon youd be best checking out ebay in usa and pick up a cheap recently banned modded console...unless u wanna play live. either way...modded/banned or unmodded buying 2nd hand in states is way cheaper than here...plus ebay prices of extras like controllers..hard disks are also cheap in u.s. |
