Those available in Korea without importing are: Neolux's Nuutbook (I own it, pretty nice), the Samsung Papyrus (partnered with Kyobo Books), and the Amazon Kindle Int'l edition (I think it's available here by now). Of course you can get any others but it won't be as easy. I've done a lot of research on these things, lemme know if I can help you. I did a review of my Nuutbook on here but can't find it with Dave's search, or google's, idk why...

where did you see that? i know its not 'available' here and you have to pay roaming charges on books you buy to the wispernet, but afaik, it should work on the wireless network that at&t is pair with.

i'm getting one sent from the US for christmas. not too worried about the wispernet, but it would be nice.

meaning is you try with a korea isp address you wont be able to buy ebooks on amazon.com for your kindle. sucks, as i had thought about getting one to. you can transfer ebooks via usb to it of course- but no go on purchasing, as far as i know. if you do find a workaround let us know- it'd be great to have.

I saw an iRiver one at PixDix, but the page turning was pretty slow and unattractive. Priced over 300 000, I think.
