You have to get an annual membership...don't remember the cost but I'm gonna say about 40,000. The turkey is prepackaged... |
I looked it up its 35,000, not bad for a year especially if you can share with a friend or something.
Have you had the turkey is it comparable to deli turkey from the states?
And about how much is a pound.

I haven't tried the turkey. I've had the ham which looks pretty similar. I think that runs about 12,000 per pound and it is produced in the USA so I assume it is of a similar quality (but I'm not American so frankly I have no idea...) |

well no need to judge
but the number of trips i make over there is questionable, so if i made only one trip then clearly its smart to split with a friend, if i make more than it was worth it regardless and managed to save 15 bucks which i can use to go out and eat or drink
but yeah, don't know why you care |

We're not trying to disguise the fact that we sell Costco goods, and of course there is a mark up, we provide a service, in essence we are your personal shoppers. We drive half way across the city several times a week, shop, stand in line, bump carts, sit in traffic etc etc.
Yes the service is mainly for those who live outside the cities. But consider this, you live in the Seoul suburbs somewhere, you work M-F and on a fine Saturday afternoon you do the following:
*spend a couple hours on a crowded bus or subway
*another couple hours shopping in a crowded noisy warehouse
*standing in line, realizing you spent way more than you intended
*lug your bag, sorry boxes back back to the bus/subway, hold them up cause there's nowhere to sit.
*walk back home,box in arms, or take a taxi
*collapse on your bed and rest because it seemed like more work than it should have been and you've had a long week
or
*spend 10 minutes on a website
*enjoy your Saturday at home! Or doing whatever it is you love to do (unless that's shopping at Costco)
It all depends on how much you value your time and your time off.
And just to clear up some misconceptions most of our products are actually NOT from Costco, they don't have Pastrami, Roast Beef, Lamb Chops(or any lamb for that matter). Sauerkraut? Indian Foods/Spices? SE Asian? Nope. Also all the deli meats we sell are non-costco (except 1) and in our opinion(and other's) are better tasting cause they aren't imported(fresher) and aren't full of preservatives or MSG.
Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to make a few things clear. Sure if Costco is in your backyard maybe our service isn't for you, but keep in mind we do a offer a lot more than just a few items from them.

| Oh and if you find the 17.6oz TB a bit pricey try the Chicken, equally as good in a sandwich (just doesn't have the rep.) and you can get 21.2oz for $13.50 or 10.6oz for $6.75. |

No preservatives?? Presumably they will keep only about a day in the refrigerator then??
Deli meats have been made with preservatives of one kind or another for centuries.. don't quit using them now guys. |

Nice Deli now has a brand new fully functional e-commerce website (same address) complete with shopping cart, search, checkout, editable orders, forums and more. Thanks so much to all our customers for sticking with us despite the awkwardness and inconvenience of our old site, the new one will make shopping a breeze and a pleasure. There are also lots of new products as well as small Christmas Gifts with every order from now until the end of the year.
We are also buying some farm animals through Oxfam to donate to needy families in Africa, and are setting up a donate link so folks can give a little and we will choose a local charity to give to. Last thing is a clothing drive for the Salvation Army, the details on this and the other things can be found in our forums.

Dear Customers,
This is a notice that we are changing our delivery day and cutoff times. Our new cutoff day and time is Tuesdays at 10am for delivery on Friday! That's only 3 days from the time you order to the time it is delivered, just in time for the weekend!
We hope this new faster delivery will improve our service and the quality of the goods we sell. One downside is there will be one last delivery lag while we make the transition over to the new day and straighten out the new times with our suppliers. So all orders placed after Friday June 4th at 10am will be delivered on Friday June 18th, we apologize for any inconvenience but ultimately this change will mean better, faster service for all your future orders!
