Audio-Lingual approach- Substitution drilling is good too. It's basically memoring a set pattern and then offering other variations |

Classic technique. It's part of my routine. Also get the kids to use their fingers for each syllable/word when backchaining or drum on their desks. The only negative with backchaining is that it sometimes throws students off in terms of intonation. Backchain then forward chain with correct intonation. |
