|

1. I have a question regarding visas for gyopo males i can't seem to find an answer to.
i have korean parents, but was born in the US and lived here all my life, and have US citizenship.
i was told i can get an f-4 visa, but is it true that I would have to serve military even though I was born in the US and have US citizenship?
is it possible just to get the normal e-2 visa?
2. also, im currently in my senior year of college.
i wanted to hopefully start working in June.
I will graduate in the first week of May. My question is..
can I start applying for jobs before I have my actual degree in hand?
I noticed some hagwons asked you're expected grad date. |

1. Yes, but if your name is in the hojeuk, E-2 won't prevent you from getting drafted.
Just renounce your K-citizenship if your name is in the hojeuk.
2. Yes. |

there is no way that my name would be in the hojeuk if i was born in the united states and have american citizenship since i was born right? |

Since there has been cases where a person born overseas has been added to hojeuk without his knowledge, it is best to check. |
