Do you think they are being a bit hard on this guy?

I think he's doing not so bad for a new teacher.

i didn't watch the whole thing, but if he's really chewing gum in class, that's pretty bad.

I think watching a circus is going to always amount to this kind of result LOL, it's not much different from my classes (younger students). The older ones aren't as bad.

I assume this is a Japanese type of hagwan, or perhaps I didn't watch carefully enough. Maybe it's in Taiwan.

Anyway, when I taught ( if you could call it teaching) in hagwans, I had kids bouncing off the walls, kicking and punching and doing their darndest to wedge their little digits up my posterior.

I give this guy high marks just for the level of control he has achieved.

(of course we can't see what's going on behind the camera, so I know this is kind of a mock demo thingy)

Agreed. Gum-chewing aside (I mean I guess it's better than bad breath tho), I didn't think it was as awful as the comments on youtube made it out to be.
