| Ugh so it's been a good 2 weeks since I've been accepted to teach English for EPIK and since I sent off to get my CRC done. I still haven't gotten my CRC back. I called the place that does it and apparently it hasn't even been processed yet. I got an e-mail from my recruiter last week saying that positions are filling very quickly and that within a week or so all positions will be filled. If I perhaps don't get this job with EPIK are there any other decent Public School organizations I can work for? Sorry if this post is all over the place. I'm just stressing out over this more than I should... |

Just one of the many example of BS lines that recruiters will try to feed you. |

| If it doesn't work out, don't give up. I was hired directly by an elementary school by answering an ad on Dave's. It was nice not to have to deal with orientation and open classes and all that. Chances are, though, that you'll be fine. |

| Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just look into other routes if this one doesn't pull through. I was stressing over it more than I should have. |
