I'd like to second Grace Slick. In her prime, wow, she could belt them out.
I don't know about being a great singer but I have always enjoyed Warren Zevon, too. Poor Pitiful him. |

I like Gerard Way's voice from My Chemical Romance.
No, I am not 14 years old. |

For singers who fit their type of music best I'll go with Axl Rose and Till Lindemann.
Funny I was never much of a GnR fan, but Axl was perfect for their songs. |

Ottis Redding or Sam Cooke, but neither are really blues or rock singers.
I think Springsteen sounds great; he has such such a cool American accent. |

| I liked Robert Smith's voice and Moz's gay sounding voice was/is good for what he does. |

My favorite singer is probably David Byron - Uriah Heep (R.I.P.)
10 years ago, I would have said Bruce Dickinson. I used to be such an Iron Maiden freak.
But one singer I can't stand is Ozzy Osbourne. He doesn't get on my nerves (much) on the first 5 or 6 'Sabbath albums, but he got ultra whiny around the time of 'Sabbath's '76 album, Technical Ecstasy. The only track worth listening to on there is "It's Alright", and the Oz Man isn't even singing that one. |
