I got a copy yesterday at Technomart Gangbyeon for PS3, 54,000 Won cash price. Fun so far but I'm doing the single player campaign first. Makes me wish I had played COD:MW first but that game is still with my Xbox in another country Sad

Slowmotion (or anyone else), where did you get your copy? Which version is it, how much did it cost, etc?

Play-asia.com , American version

By the way people, if you get in a party with a bunch of local people, your chances of getting a green bar drastically increase than playing by yourself. I was in a game with some other foreigners in Korea and we had the green bars while everyone else had yellow, but fuggit better them than me since I always had the yellow bars.

The world of difference a green bar makes

For multiplayer, it doesn't matter what version you use.

Make sure you get DLC from the same place as your version, though. Don't buy DLC on the American PSN if your game is the Asian version, or Korean version.

Anyone actually good at this game? Me and another friend would like some other good players to play with that are in Korea, main reason being the chances of getting a good connection increase if we are all in a party. If you suck azz don't even bother lol

I cant really get into multiplayer on this, i'll keep trying, but i prefer to snipe and the levels that i've seen so far dont lend themselves to it very well.

I didn't do well for quite awhile, usually averaging more deaths than kills....UNTIL I GOT BLING AND THE TAR.

We can play today if you want, add Jihaddin.

Similar to the last game, it's pretty tough to beat a ninja with a silenced P90, or if you're dominating put the P90 on penetrating bullets and marathon and lightweight and run around like a madman.

Sniping, the 3rd sniper rifle (forgot name) with a ACOG scope works like a long rifle but with one hit kill capability. I usually have one set up for more stationary sniping (normal longer range scope) and one for running and sniping with the ACOG.

The airport is the best for running/gunning, and there are at least 3 levels that I usually run around sniping on. There are a lot more elevated places in this game than the last one.

Love the killstreaks in this game.

The lag in korea will be bad. Any game with listening or p2p systems are pretty awful when played here.

Have you heard any accounts of people playing MW2 here on PC?

Because I haven't heard too many lag stories.

I play PC here. No problems at all. Hard to get a game outside of team deathmatch mode, but no problems finding a lagless experience

I'm on my ps3 everyday on the US servers and find no lag (even though I'm usually on yellow or red bars). With MW1 I'm always lagging, but with MW2, even wit yellow/red I'm still playing fine. It just takes a while to find games...

trust me, if you've got red bars, you've got lag. lag doesn't necessarily mean screen tearing or whatnot. have you ever noticed that, during a red bar game, you may need to unload an entire clip just to kill a dude? or you've unloaded your clip and said dude simply walks up and knifes you? watch his killcam: you may have not even fired a shot in his part of the world.
...and compare it with a glorious green-bar game: 1,2,3 shots, kappow! rat-tat-tat-tat! boom! and maybe you're the guy knifing the poor guy with red bars.
