| Regardless of any argument the individual had with a bus driver, demanding other passengers get off seems impossible to justify. I could understand her asking the individual in question to get off of the bus if she felt he was being too problematic; he was after all insisting that she serve him in English, which it seems she's not required to do. However, demanding everyone get off of the bus seems like a ridiculous temper tantrum. |
Ah, thanks for pointing that out, I missed that. Still though, it also says that she called the police, so I don't think it was a case(as this thread headline implies) of her kicking people off because they were all speaking English. Perhaps she thought(reasonably or otherwise) that the incident would escalate into a safety issue?

| One thing to keep in mind is that the Gazette's journalistic integrity is about on par with the Korea Times... |

It doesn't say anything about anyone else speaking English. My impression was that she got angry because of the one passenger demanding service in English, and made everyone get off of the bus because of it.

Perhaps one could surmise this, if one was being exceptionally generous to the woman in question. I think it's far more probable that she simply had a temper tantrum over an argument with an individual customer, but I can't prove it with just the information at hand. |
