|
|
Could someone give me a ballpark figure for how much I'm going to spend each month using a 3G wifi phone with SHOW. I'd mainly be using the cell-phone and apps with occasional use of maps or a quick naver search when I'm downtown.
I'm thinking either the iphone or the Nokia 5800 using basic service.
The Nokia seems to be going for free with a 2-year plan.
One extra question: What is all this about having "unlocked" phones? Is this good, and can you do it in Korea?
Thanks. |

with my iphone, I ordered the 45,000W a month plan (includes 500 minutes, 500MB data plan and unlimited GPS data) the phone was only 200,000w (originally 850,000w) with the 2 year contract.
There are plans for 35k, 45k, 65k and 95k a month plans for the iPhone |

If you're just using 'wifi', I assume most of you are using Nespot?
How good is Nespot? Good coverage all over Korea? |

I believe so, but you'll likely have to dish out the full Korean retail price for it. I shudder to think... |
