My first choice is GangNueng. I have an offer for Suncheon. Is it a cool place? |

I'm here now.
It's good enough.
Town smells clean, not nearly as much dust as chungbuk province.
But I've been here only 1.5 weeks. |

I've been in Korea for a year now. I'm aware of most of the pitfalls mate.
It's not a problem, if you expect it . |

Suncheon has some good expat bars because it's the apex of the triangle with Yeosu and Gwangyang on the coast, the foreign teachers from each city converging on Suncheon, which has a nice walking street downtown nightlife area. It is also close to Jiri National Park. I quite liked Suncheon and visited it from time to time when I was in the Jinju area, an hour away. There are also express buses to the big city of Gwangju for weekend jaunts and you're two hours, ten minutes from Busan by bus as well for once in a blue moon getaways. |

I've been here two years. There's good social net between Sucheon, Gwang yang, and Yeosu. If you need to get away to a big city, Gwang Ju is an hour by bus (6400 won). Cost of living is really low compared to bigger places once you get settled in and learn where to get stuff. |
