From a language teacher's point she should study her ungradable adjective rules. Extreme or ungradable adjectives such as 'unique' cannot be graded with quantifiers such as 'very' or 'a little' but they can be used with 'quite'. The meaning of 'quite' however changes to 'completely' or 'totally' with this type of adjective. Eg 'he was quite dead'. She may not like 'quite unique' but it is grammatically correct

Half of the author's own sayings aren't really business sayings.

I, (personally) can't stand "going forward" or "at the end of the day." These really bug me as they often come into my head before anything else.

not sure whether they are biz talk or not
but these bug me:
pay attention to details
use the common sense
we want 'good' (teachers, or whatever)
