So, my university is cleaning house. I have two years of uni experience and am applying at various unis hoping I can get in but so far it seems the odds are not good.
I'm not really so keen on Korea anymore and will probably leave for sunnier climates and more positive people if I can't get a uni gig. But, that paranoid, money-grubbing part of my personality likes the disposable income here. I may be willing to stay for an adult hagwon job and have heard that if you have significant experience you can sometimes negotiate a contract with no split-shifts.
Anyone ever done this? What adult hagwons are negotiable and hiring nowadays? |
