| My mental conditioning dictates that I usually root for the American fighter. I think Floyd might have the power to suddenly plant his feet and knock out Manny around the third round - retiring him to a life of politics in the Philippines. |

I'm pulling for the Pac Man to go in there and do some damage!
Let's be serious here, regardless of the outcome, as long as Manny puts some serious hurt on Floyd he gains much respect and has already been written in the history books. He is a beast, a competitor, and now a boxer. If I read correctly somewhere, there will be a crazy high penalty for coming in over weight, something along the lines of $10 mil. per pound or fraction thereof. (see sports sites like ESPN). That is to try and cap off Mayweather's size advantage, but he trains hard and I doubt will be an issue.
Mayweather is a great counterpuncher with a solid smooth style defense. The question will be if Mayweather can endure Manny coming at him like an unstoppable tank, or will Roach prove to be a genius trainer and PacMan beats him down over the course of the fight?
I'm predicting Manny wears him down and KOs Mayweather late into the 10th round! |
