She went off on me and so I told her to never [Mod Edit] yell at me again and to ignore the fact that I'm not blessed with Korean ancestry. She later indicated to me that she's going to try to get me fired.

Is there anybody in E.P.I.C. who'd listen to my side of the story? Thanks in advance for your time.

Probably no one will listen to you or care what you have to say.

I'm sorry, but thems the facts.

As for your KT, you'll have to figure that out for yourself.

They are a tad strange at times.

Hi,

I merely said to her that I thought that I should only have to pay fifty percent of my hospital bill: I've paid into the insurance plan thus far but have not been registered with National Health Insurance by the school's E.P.I.C. Officer.

I'd guess that my "relationship" with the school is as good as a White Ghost could enjoy given the fact that I always try to be nice and friendly to everybody at school. My contract has been largely ignored since I started last month. This sucks, but it's a forkin' job.

The Principal also forced me to work today even though I'm not supposed to work on weekends. He said to the co-teacher that I did not have to work on Christmas. Thus, I should make up for the "day off" from work.

thats odd i must admit. i dont know about the whole insurance thing determining how much you should pay, i would assume it depends on what kind of treatment you needed. however i would be very angry with my school if i was paying into the system but havent been enrolled. this just means they are pocketing your money. you need to talk to someone higher up in the food chain than your coteacher.

Tell your principal that your work today better be considered overtime since Dec. 25 is a national holiday. Point to it on a calendar, show him that it is a red day. Tell him to [Mod Edit] off.

I would call EPIK ASAP and let them know what is going on.

Thank you for your advice.

Yes, I will go right to E.P.I.K. instead of informing E.P.I.C. about the on-going [Mod Edit] at both schools. My main school makes me pay for non-existant lunches and will not provide some things that are GUARANTEED in my contract.

I asked my twin sister to come to Korea to straighten out the co-teacher. My sis can kick ass.

I'm going to second the advice of the other teacher and contact EPIK directly. There is no reason why you shouldn't be on the national health insurance program. This sounds dodgey to me. Although the national health insurance doesn't cover the whole cost of a hospital visit. A percentage is covered by the health insurance and the rest you have to pay on your own.
you also don't have to work national holidays, which christmas is.

Tell your coteacher to go eat kimchi. You don't have to put up with that cowflop.

Tell your boss that you thank him for the day off. Get back to work. That's the point, isn't it?

Tell you sister that I'd like to meet her.

She's in Taxachusetts. If you really want to meet her, you have to pay me a lot of cash. We're talkin' megabucks here.
