Hello Folks.
Background is that my wife and I have been looking for a job in Korea for a while, we are signed on with 3 or 4 recruiters. We've had a few interviews, and been offered a few jobs, but for various reasons have turned them down (once didn't like the school, once didn't like the location, once didn't like the contract etc).
All of our recruiters have been on to us about GEPIK. Each of them have said that you should only apply through one recruiter as it counts against you to apply with more than one, which I can understand.
However, are the recruiters just yanking our chains to ensure that they get our business?
Or, if they are correct, and you should only apply with one company, who would be best? Our main 3 we are signed up with are: Flying cows, ASK-now, and Worknplay. I should say that I personally have found worknplay to be the most helpful so far, with ASK-now close behind.
Oh, and finally, we're brits, if that makes any difference. |

| I was told by my recruiters that it only matters if you are applying to the head office (you should only send them one application package). If you are applying to individual schools, you can have multiple recruiters, just be sure not to apply to the same school through more than one recruiter. |

As far as im aware this is almost completely wrong!
OP, you should only apply through ONE recruiter, you dont get to choose the school you will be in, just the area. |

I have been applying to GEPIK schools for a few weeks now and each one has been a specific school. I get the name of the schools, contact information, addresses and everything.
I'm guessing different recruiters handle schools differently. |

The recruiter I used only works with public school jobs specifically in Gyeongsangnam-do.
Does this mean that I should not use her services? Because she effectively eliminates every other EPIK position? |

| hmm, seems like im wrong then, you're best off waiting for someone who has experience with GEPIK to answer the question. I was under the impression that GEPIK only allows you to apply once and you only knew the area that you was going to, and found out the actual school when you arrived :s |
