Not quite sure how 10,000 entrance and then 6,000 a drink is that expensive. Pretty much on par with clubs in Seoul, bout the same as Hongdae, definately cheaper than Apku.
Girls like expensive bars cause they figure the guys that go there have money.... skanks 
If you think thats expensive dont go to a Korean nightclub... min approx. 300,000. Or somewhere like JJ's...14,000 for a beer |

I was here in 1996 before IMF and I never came close to paying 5,000-10,000 won for a drink. Well, I drank Cass. My salaray was only 1.2 million but the exchange rate was pretty good.
Where were you living at that time? I was in Pusan. (I think it was 1,500 to 3,000 down there). Unless I went to Hyatt Hotel which was the astronomical 5,000 won at the time! |

Guys, if these girls keep dragging you to expensive bars and you don't like it- perhaps you're hanging with the wrong kind of girl?
