Dudes, do you have any tunes you dig which your fellow teachers just don't get ? Funnily enough I do. Especially those British dudes man, are they square or what ? They just don't seem to like good music, specifically MY music, which just rocks, when they, evidently, do not.

So let's hear it for some good old AMERICAN rock n ROLL, music which takes you back to good old dances back home on a Saturday night ! ( Sorry if you get offended British dudes, but these tunes will blow your socks off ! )

1. Cat Scratch Fever : Ted Nugent. Yeah the dude that don't take no s___t when it comes to the gun laws ! Dah dah dah dah dah daaahhh dah dah dah daaaahhhhhhh ! Sends chills down my spine, every time.

2. Lynrd skynrd : Freebird. Now which dance would be complete without it? So many times, I remember, folk waving their arms in the air, cmon now , " I'm as freeeee as a birrrrdd now" Now THAT is real music.

3. Ok just in case you guys thought I was narrow minded or a racist dude or something, man, I gotta add some real reggae -- 'Dreadlock Holiday', by 10 CC 'cos it ROOOOCCCKKKKSSS! !!!! And it's so original. Never could get the lyrics, but they got real when they released that tune dudes.

4. AC/DC : Now we talking about real man music -- not fer the boys. "Whole lotta Rosie' be the one.

5. Anything by Charlie Daniels.

6. Huey Lewis and the News, and Mellencamp.

7. Ok, how about some Rush ? They rock too, even though their singer sings kinda funny, and looks foreign. Is he a foreign dude ? Looks like it. Probably a commie too man.

Anyway -- They rock !

Now what you got dudes?

Let's not deny it -- my list rocks -- unless your a British commie that is.

Interesting.

Interesting that you slate British music fans there. Even more interesting when you go on to list some of the most banal, AOR crap around.

I think the bolded section says everything we need to know about your taste in music.

The Young brothers, who formed ACDC, were born in Glasgow and the singer who replaced Bon Scott was a Geordie so they're mostly British
