Well, my son is heading over there, and I've been picking up horror stories about ESL in Korea and thus am not sure what to expect. Totally naive. Should he believe what he has been told, which is mostly pretty good?

EV Daegu doesn't pay particularly well, but as EV Hakwons go, it's (reportedly) top shelf - especially their camps! Check here:

Share and enjoy. I work about 30 minutes from there. If I had this to do over again, I would have signed with EV Daegu. It looks like a really clean ship.
